【講師プロフィール】辻井 いつ子氏
1988年に長男・伸行が生後まもなく全盲とわかり、絶望と不安のなか、育児書や子育てマニュアルが全く役に立たないところから、手探りで子育てをスタートする。
「明るく、楽しく、あきらめない」をモットーに伸行を育てる。つねに子どもの可能性を信じ、よく見て、ほめる「親ばか」の子育てで、生後8カ月で伸行の音楽の才能を見つけ、プロのピアニストへと二人三脚で歩む。
その結果、2009年6月、アメリカで開催された第13回ヴァン・クライバーン国際ピアノコンクールで、伸行は日本人初の優勝を果たす。その後、自身の経験をもとに全国で講演活動を行う。
