I'm living in a tropical island called Ishigakijima which is located in the Yaeyama islands in Okinawa prefecture, Japan.
The island's population is about 49,000 and growing! Subtropical agriculture such as sugar cane and pineapples are the leading industries of Ishigaki as well as production of Ishigaki beef and tourism.
The charm of the island is the beautiful sea, incredible nature, traditional architectures and friendly people.
