当館よりNZ外務貿易省に新型コロナウイルス感染症による治療費について確認したところ，同感染症によりＮＺ国内で入院した場合，ビザのステータスに関わらず入院費は無料となるとの回答がありました（通常，ＮＺの公立病院での治療は，２年以上の滞在資格を有するビザ所持者に限り無料となりますが，新型コロナウイルス等の感染症はビザステータスにかかわらず無料となります）。但し，自己隔離のためのホテル滞在費等は自己負担となりますので，ご注意ください。

２ 日本帰国後の検疫措置
日本への帰国便の選択肢は，依然として極めて限定的となっていますが，仮に日本へ到着した後も，日本人を含む全ての入国者に対し厳格な検疫が行われています。厚生労働省は，「帰国されたお客様へ」と題するＱ＆Ａを同省ホームページに掲載しています。以下，ＰＣＲ検査や待機方法など帰国後のとるべき対応について，一部を紹介します。（詳細は下記リンク参照）
●過去１４日以内にＮＺに滞在歴のある方は，ＰＣＲ検査が実施され，検査結果が出るまで，自宅もしくは検疫所が指定した施設等で，１日〜２日程度待機いただくことになります。
●遠方に自宅がある場合であっても，公共交通機関（飛行機を含む）をご利用することはできません。
●検疫所長が指定した施設等（空港周辺の宿泊施設等）へは，国が用意したバスを利用していただくこととなります。
