Salud Latina USF

Virtually join the University of South Florida on December 9th from 6 pm-8 pm to learn about the work of Salud Latina USF as they aim to address important public health issues among Spanish-speaking communities through outreach, education, and research. The CLEO Institute of Tampa First Listening Session

The CLEO Institute has partnered with the City to facilitate community engagement via listening sessions, surveys, and townhall style workshops to allow residents to voice their concerns and share suggestions toward developing solutions to transform Tampa’s tomorrow. The first community listening session will take place on December 12th from 2 pm-4 pm at the Cyrus Greene Community Center. Join to make your voice heard in this Climate Action and Equity Plan (https://www.tampa.gov/news/city-tampa-begins-development-climate-action-equity-plan-86886) that will provide fair and just climate solutions for our community.

FDOT Public Meeting

Make your voice heard and join a FDOT Public Meeting (https://www.fdotd7studies.com/projects/56thstreetcorridor/) on Tuesday, Dec 14, 2021, at the Lightfoot Senior Rec Center or virtually. Attendees will learn about and provide their thoughts on a Transportation Planning Study along the 56th St/50th St corridor (from the Selmon Expressway north to Fletcher Ave).

Subcontractor Outreach & Networking Event

On December 16th from 2 – 5 pm, meet and network with the City's Contract Administration Department, Purchasing Department, and Equal Business Opportunity staff along with the Tampa International Airport Diversity Supplier team and more than 24 prime contractors for City of Tampa construction projects. All construction subcontractors are urged to attend. Minority, women-owned, or small businesses interested in becoming certified with the City of Tampa are also encouraged to attend.
