*Talk story session scheduled July 20 for Lydgate Beach Park breakwater maintenance project*

LYDGATE—The Friends of Kamalani and Lydgate Park and Oceanit Laboratories Inc., with support from the County of Kauaʻi, announce a talk-story session for the Morgan's Ponds breakwater maintenance project at Lydgate Beach Park on Saturday, July 20, at 10:30 a.m.

This activity engages with the community and gathers information and ideas for a long-term maintenance plan to preserve Morgan’s Ponds, its shoreline, and its breakwater.

Before the talk story session, the Friends of Kamalani and Lydgate Park will have their weekly beach cleanup from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Future open house outreach sessions will be scheduled to present options based on ideas gathered at the cleanup and talk story session.
