Youth Sports Day Camp Counselor [ https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/bellevuewa/Jobs/4479860?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ]

The City of Bellevue is seeking positive, energetic individuals to work in a variety of sports and recreation camps with youth ages 7-13. Counselors will be responsible for supervising and leading children through day camp activities such as games, sports, water activities, and field trips while providing a safe and inclusive environment for all. Experience working with sports & recreation programs and diverse elementary and middle school aged youth is desired.

Counselors will work between 25-40 hours pers week in the summer. Hours can vary between 7:30am to 6pm. There is the opportunity to work a full day or half day (morning or afternoon) shift and shifts will rotate weekly. If interested in continuing beyond the summer, work hours through the school year range from 2-10 hours per week (afternoons, evenings, Saturdays). Main summer camp location will be Tyee Middle School, 13630 SE Allen Rd, Bellevue, WA 98006.

*Summer Camp dates* are July 1-3, July 8-12, July 15-19, July 22-26, July 29-August 2, August 5-9, and August 12-16. Counselors will also need to attend approximately two (2) days of training the week of June 24th. This will include First Aid/CPR training.
