当署管内で、警察庁を騙る不審なメールが届いたとの通報が複数ありました。
警察庁を騙り
あなたの子どもが犯罪を起こしました。
賠償金を至急振り込んでください。
との内容でした。
これは、指定された口座に現金を振り込ませようとする詐欺メールです。
警察が、このようなメールを送ることはありません。
【２】不審なメールが届いたら
〇 警察、公共機関、企業を名乗っていても、詐欺メールの可能性があります。
〇 身に覚えのない相手からのメールは、開かずに無視・削除しましょう。
〇 メールを開いてしまっても、返信したり、そこに記載された連絡先に電話をかけたり、
メールアドレスのリンク先に接続するのはやめましょう。
〇 現金を要求されても、絶対に支払わないでください。
【３】メールアドレスの変更で防犯対策
不審なメールが頻繁に届く方は、より安全なメールアドレスへ変更してみましょう。
メールアドレスは、以下の条件を満たしていることをお勧めします。
(1)自由に設定できる箇所の文字数を１５文字程度にする。
(2)アルファベット、数字、記号を全て使う。
※記号は、「．（ピリオド）」「＿（アンダーバー）」「−（ハイフン）」など
