*King County Metro Transit’s Facilities Division* has an exciting opportunity for multiple *Transit Utility Laborer Leads*. 

This is a working lead position responsible for assigning and coordinating the work of laborers and performing the full range of responsibilities identified in the Transit Utility Laborer classification. Work involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities and priorities. The Transit Utility Laborer Lead will also provide team leadership, training, direction, and work coordination of a crew to ensure safe and effective operations. Leadership by example is key in this position.

The Transit Utility Laborer Leads will help develop annual work plans, provide daily/weekly scheduling of work, and monitor work for quality and quantity. Work is performed under general supervision of Transit Facilities Superintendents and Chiefs. 

This recruitment will immediately fill four (4) fully benefitted Special Duty Assignment (SDA) position with an anticipated duration of 12 months, with the potential to extend. This recruitment may be used to create an eligibility pool to fill future Special Duty Assignment (SDA) openings in this classification and within this division. Eligibility pools remain valid for twelve (12) months upon creation, or until the pool is exhausted, at the discretion of the hiring authority.   

Interviews are anticipated to occur during the week of *October*** 7*** throu*gh October 11**, 2024*, *but are subject to change.
