LEARN MORE Social Services Commission Toiletries & More Drive-Up Event The Social Services Commission will be holding a Toiletry & More Drive-Up Event this Saturday, April 27th at 3031 Torrance Blvd. (West Annex) from 10 a.m. to noon to benefit organizations that serve people experiencing homelessness. If you can't make the Drive-Up event, you can still drop off donation items at any of the drop-off locations at your convenience through April 30th. The 62nd Annual Armed Forces Day Parade and Celebration is less than a month away! Start the day by participating in the 5K for Freedom! Save $5 by registering by May 3. STEM Day at Torrance Airport 150 Torrance middle and high school students spent the day at Torrance Airport, learning what it’s like to work in aerospace and aeronautics. The students are all involved in STEM programs - science, technology, engineering, and math - and the day-long program shows how those subjects prepare them for the real world.
