Land Use Code Updates Coming to Wilburton

In June the City Council voted unanimously in support of a comprehensive plan amendment that will facilitate the transformation of the west side of Wilburton into a walkable, vibrant, sustainable, mixed-use neighborhood

The next step in this process will be the creation of the Land Use Code Amendment (LUCA), which will set out the requirements for future development in this area.

A draft of the LUCA was posted online [ https://bellevuewa.gov/city-government/departments/community-development/planning-initiatives/wilburton?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ] on May 31 and staff are seeking community input. Feedback will be used to shape a final recommendation for the Planning Commission to consider in September.

Community members are invited to attend an online information session on the proposed LUCA for the Wilburton Vision Implementation. City staff will present details on the proposed LUCA, explain how people can provide feedback and have plenty of time for questions.
