The King County Wastewater Treatment Division is seeking *_two_* Education & Engagement Supervisors/"Environmental Programs Managing Supervisor" who are passionate, collaborative leaders, prepared to manage the delivery of our education and engagement programs for our Environmental and Community Services Section (ECSS). We need proven leaders who will leverage their program management expertise and experience to strategically resolve challenges and effectively support programs that serve our local communities.  The successful candidates will collaborate with all business sections of our utility, regional partner agencies, and community organizations.

*About the Role:*
The Education & Engagement Supervisors/"Environmental Programs Managing Supervisor" will supervise education teams within the Environmental and Community Services Section (ECSS) of WTD. These positions will manage education teams located in our North and South regions, supporting daily functions, including management of staffing, planning & development of programs, establishing procedures & safety, and developing performance standards for educational work programs.
 
The Education & Engagement Supervisors/"Environmental Programs Managing Supervisor" works with the Education & Engagement Unit Manager for work across the Division (WTD), Department (DNRP) and throughout King County and represents the Unit’s education work with internal work groups, external consultants, and the public.


* Our regional wastewater treatment system has a big job to do. It operates around the clock to sustain a healthy environment and enables our region to thrive by supporting equitable economic development.
* You will work with teams from across all wastewater workgroups and lines of business to help shape how we as a utility educate and engage our communities.
* You will supervise a team supporting WTD’s education programs that are conducted throughout our service area. 
This position performs work remotely and onsite."  "
