*August 23 Notice: Public is advised to use KPD alternative non-emergency phone lines*

LĪHUʻE – Due to a network disruption, the public is advised to use alternative dispatch phone lines to report non-emergencies.

On Friday, Aug. 23, at approximately 4 p.m., the Kaua‘i Police Department non-emergency phone line, 808-241-1711, experienced a service disruption. The public is advised to use the following alternative numbers to report non-emergencies:


* 808-755-8516
* 808-652-7837

The 911 emergency line remains operational.

The County of Kaua‘i’s Information Technology Division is actively working to resolve the disruption and restore service. Updates will be provided when more information becomes available.
