*National Coverage Analysis (NCA)*

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a Preexposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV & Related Preventive Services informational website for health care providers and is available at https://www.cms.gov/medicare/coverage/prep. CMS is encouraging pharmacies and other interested parties to prepare now for the expected transition of coverage from Medicare Part D to Medicare Part B for PrEP to prevent HIV. We expect to release the final National Coverage Determination (NCD) in late September 2024. Coverage under Part B will begin once we release the final NCD.
