The King County Department of Public Defense (DPD) is seeking *two **(2) Human Resource Analysts (HRA’s) *to join our small, yet mighty, and high performing Human Resources (HR) team. While the primary focus of the HRA’s will be on providing generalist support in the areas of Human Resource Information System (HRIS) administration, HR continuous process improvement, full-cycle recruitments, and records management, additional responsibilities may also include broader HR tasks such as leave management and employee engagement.
 
Reporting to the Human Resource Manager (HRM), the HRA’s must be positive, forward-thinking professionals who, through an Equity and Social Justice lens, will aim to meet DPD’s goal around providing effective and efficient delivery of Human Resource services. The HRA’s will have the opportunity to take an innovative and creative approach on developing and executing strategies to successfully perform in their assigned areas of responsibility.

The successful HRA’s have strong technical skills, demonstrate strong organizational skills, have a drive for high attention to detail, thrive in a diverse, collaborative, and dead-line driven environment.

These positions offer a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the Director’s Office as our HR team innovates, works strategically and cohesively to meet the needs of our rapidly growing department.
 
Additionally, the HRA’s will help ensure that HR service delivery aligns with DPD’s mission, and King County’s commitment to equity and inclusion, and be consistent with the Department of Human Resources overarching policies.
