RecConnect Memberships Now Available

A new way to experience City recreation facilities and programs View as Webpage August 28, 2024 Reno Connect | Parks and Rec Connecting Citizens to Our Community   City Launches New RecConnect Membership Program The City of Reno has officially launched ‘RecConnect,’ a new membership program designed to provide access to the City’s parks and recreation facilities. For as little as $12 per month, you will have unlimited entry to various workout facilities, gyms and pools including: William N. Pennington Moana Springs Community Aquatics and Fitness Center Idlewild Pool Northwest Pool Traner Pool Plumas Gym Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center Neil Road Recreation Center “Whether you’re looking to dive into the new Moana Springs Pool, join a fitness class, or simply explore the great programs we offer in the City, RecConnect has something for everyone,” said Nathan Ullyot, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Reno. “We are committed to a safe and welcoming space where members can create connections while boosting their well-being.” In addition to these benefits, RecConnect members will receive priority registration for popular programs and exclusive discounts on select activities and rentals including: 10% discounts for facility room rentals, pool rentals, park shelter rentals and field rentals. Special member-only times for open swim at Aquatics facilities. 10% off for the weekly rates for Sierra Kids and Vacation Station (parent and child must both be members to be valid for this discount) 10% off the non-included classes such as specialty fitness classes, personal training and even swim lessons. Free member-only special events: Movies in the park / pool. Outdoor events, etc. A founder's rate of $48 at a locked-in rate for life is available through Sept. 8! Understanding that affordability is key to accessibility, the City has implemented a sliding scale fee structure for RecConnect memberships. RecConnect memberships can be as low as $12 per month for adult and $3 for kids based on the sliding scale discount. Discounts will be applied based on the household income. Specific fee details and eligibility criteria are available on the City’s website. Additionally, most people are eligible for free or reduced RecConnect memberships through their insurance companies. Residents can enroll in the program online at reno.gov/recconnect or in person at any of the City’s recreation centers. In-person enrollment is required to receive income-based discounts. Staff members are available to assist with the application process.
