You’re receiving this email because you subscribe to receive the King County Medical Examiner’s Office (MEO) daily decedent list.

We’re writing with an update on the data retention policies for these daily decedent lists. In addition to being emailed to subscribers, each day’s decedent list is also available on the MEO webpage [ https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/dph/health-safety/medical-examiner/decedents ]. The lists remain accessible online for 90 entries; after 90 entries, they are deleted from the webpage. When they are deleted from the webpage, the link within the email you received for that date will also be disabled. As such, if you wish to have access to the decedent list information beyond this retention period, you may want to download and save the individual decedent lists when you receive them.

As always, you can also submit a public disclosure request for MEO decedent information for any date. Keep in mind that these disclosure requests can take up to 6 weeks to be fulfilled.
