*We’ve completed construction of the 6th Ave NW Neighborhood Greenway Connection!*

[ https://www.seattle.gov/transportation/about-us/funding/levy-to-move-seattle?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery ]The 6th Ave NW Neighborhood Greenway makes it safer for children and families to get to West Woodland Elementary and walk and bike around their neighborhood. It also connects the Burke Gilman Trail to the NW 58th St Neighborhood Greenway. Through the growing network of Neighborhood Greenways, trails, and protected bike lanes in Seattle, people walking, rolling and biking can now travel between Ballard and Fremont to Crown Hill, Northgate and Downtown.

To celebrate the completion of construction, we're hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony and bike ride for the community! There will be speakers, refreshments, treats, and giveaways – you won’t want to miss it. Before the ribbon cutting, Councilmember Dan Strauss and SDOT Director Greg Spotts will lead a celebratory bike ride along the new Greenway.

We’ll have refreshments, treats, and giveaways. We'll also leave room for you to explore the safety improvements of the Greenway and time to mingle with your neighbors. Please share this information with your neighbors.
