*King County Metro Transit’s Power & Facilities Division* has an exciting opportunity for multiple *Journey Electricians* (also known as Electrician Constructors). These positions are responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment, power distribution systems, high voltage trolley overhead systems, transit radio and wireless communication systems, fire/life safety systems, and security systems including CCTV. 

Our team of Journey Electricians play a vital role as Metro Transit transitions to a 100% zero-emissions fleet, powered by renewable energy, with a target completion date in 2035. You can learn more about our plan here: https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/metro/programs-and-projects/zero-emissions.

This recruitment will immediately fill up to *nine (9) Career Service positions*. This recruitment and may also be used to establish an eligibility pool to fill future Career Service vacancies in this classification and division. Eligibility pools remain valid for 12 months upon creation, or until the pool is exhausted, at the discretion of the hiring authority.

Interviews are currently anticipated to occur during the week of *December 10 through December 12, 2024*, but dates are subject to change.
