There's no better way to support producers than by visiting our Torrance Certified Farmers’ Market to celebrate the growth and impact of farmers' markets and their vital role in America’s food supply chain.  This year, the Torrance Certified Farmers’ Market is proud to mark its 39th (thirty-nine) year of operation as a Farmers’ Market, supporting small to mid-sized farmers and regional food systems, and food businesses. The Farmers' Market is open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Charles H. SEE THE LIVE FEED Torrance Police Department Announces Incentives for Recruitment Program On July 16, 2024, the Torrance City Council approved a $4.6 million Recruitment and Retention Pilot Program to strengthen the city's public safety team. Bonuses up to: • $100k for Lateral Police Officers • $40k for New Police Officers • $40k for Lateral Public Safety Dispatchers • $10k for New Public Safety Dispatchers • $75k in retention bonuses for Sworn Staff • $50k in retention bonuses for Professional Staff JOIN THE TORRANCE POLICE DEPARTMENT 4th of July Celebration Survey!
