Bellevue Utilities has an exciting opportunity for a full time *Storm and Surface Water Crew Leader*. The Storm and Surface Water Crew Leader oversees day to day operations of the Storm and Surface Water section. The Storm and Surface Water section is an 18 member team with four program areas specific to Storm and Surface Water and our Utility Locate staff.

The salary scale for the Crew Leader is between $81,876.67 and $102,832.85 with an option to advance to a Crew Leader – Technical Specialist after completing the Technical Specialist training matrix that provides an additional 5% increase. New hires to this position are generally between the lower end of the starting salary and mid-range.

Program areas within the Storm and Surface Water section are comprised of Inspection and Cleaning, Ponds and Natural Systems, Construction and Repair and Condition Assessment. Each program area is coordinated by a Lead Worker and/or Technical Specialist that reports to the Crew leader.

The Crew Leader is an integral part of the team that reports directly to the Superintendent and works to ensure daily operational goals are met, training of staff, assists in development of policies, provides coordination of special projects and acts as the primary point of contact during emergencies.

Bellevue’s Stormwater Utility was one of the first in the nation and is a leader in the industry.
