1:20 PM UPDATE

Due to the landfill closure, trash service is closed at the Hanalei refuse transfer station. However, all other services at Hanalei are available. Updates will be posted when the site reopens. Mahalo for your patience. 

12:30 PM UPDATE

Due to the landfill closure, trash service is closed at the Hanapēpē refuse transfer station. However, all other services at Hanapēpē are available. Updates will be posted when the site reopens. Mahalo for your patience. 

11:30 AM UPDATE

Due to the landfill closure, trash service is closed at the Kapa‘a refuse transfer station. However, all other services at Kapa‘a are available. Updates will be posted when the site reopens. Mahalo for your patience.

Aug. 19, Solid Waste Division notice

The Solid Waste Division is announcing the following closures for today, Aug. 19:


* Due to equipment failure, the Līhu‘e refuse transfer station is closed until further notice; and
* the Kekaha Landfill is also closed due to equipment issues. 

Updates will be posted when both sites reopen. During this closure, customers may utilize the Kapa‘a or Hanapēpē refuse transfer stations. Mahalo for your patience.
