*Glacier Northwest Dredging Project Update*
Glacier Northwest, Inc. (dba CalPortland) is planning lake dredging at the ready-mix plant and aggregate yard located at the north end of Lake Washington at 6423/6431 NE 175th Street in Kenmore. The project plans to remove approximately 800 cubic yards of material within the previously maintained 16,000-square-foot berth (the space where vessels can be moored) for maintenance dredging. The project is proposed as maintenance to provide safe access for vessels and barges to the terminal by removing (dredging) sand, gravel, and some lake sediment.

*Project Status Update: *On July 23, the Kenmore Hearing Examiner notified the Applicant, Appellant, and City that he plans to issue an Order of Dismissal based on lack of jurisdiction under the Kenmore Municipal Code. For this reason, the appeal hearings that were scheduled for July 30 and August 19 have been cancelled. If the Hearing Examiner decides not to dismiss the appeal, the City will update the project webpage [ https://www.kenmorewa.gov/our-city/projects-in-the-city/current-projects/glacier-nw-dredging ] and notify those who have requested notifications.
