World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™

The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ is global event designed to build awareness and generate press attention about the vital importance of teaching kids to swim to help prevent drowning. Tampa Parks & Recreation will be serving as an official Host Location on June 17, 2021 at all City pool facilities (https://www.tampa.gov/parks-and-recreation/activities-recreation/aquatics/pool-facilities) . Tampa Bay Community Water Wise Awards

The Community Water Wise Award program, hosted by Tampa Bay Water annually, encourages the efficient use of our water resources and to protect our drinking water sources from pollution. Winners receive a custom mosaic garden stone, recognition by local elected officials and neighborhood bragging rights. The deadline to submit an application (http://awards.tampabaywaterwise.org/) is June 30, 2021.
