*Injured visitor rescued near Queen’s Bath Friday*

PRINCEVILLE – A 54-year-old female visitor from New Jersey was rescued near Queen’s Bath after injuring her leg on Friday, Sept. 6.

Firefighters with the Hanalei Fire Station responded to the incident.

According to a preliminary report, shortly after 6:25 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a report of an injured female hiker near Queen’s Bath in Princeville on Friday.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., rescuers located the hiker, who reportedly fell and injured her leg near Queen’s Bath.

The visitor was loaded into a stokes litter and transported to awaiting American Medical Response personnel for advanced medical treatment. She was later transported to Wilcox Medical Center.

KFD personnel cleared the scene at approximately 7 p.m.
