Instructor ： Kyo Konno （ Cultural Property Advisor, Musashino Furusato History Museum ）

Students will learn how to handle archaeological materials mainly from the Paleolithic and Jomon periods by selecting materials excavated at the Inokashira Pond site complex. Students will also learn how to observe the materials through practical work of organizing them.

[2] "Early Modern Musashino Area Studies"

Lecturer ： Kiyomi Yonesaki （ Curator, Musashino Hometown History Museum ）
<1965> This lecture will explain how to research the history of Musashino with a focus on the Edo period and historical research featuring Musashino. Students will be asked to present historical documents on their own topics, which will be discussed by all participants. At the end of the year, students will have the ability and skills to compile a report on their own topic.
（ Note ） This course is intended for those who have completed the Elementary Course in Ancient Documents or have equivalent skills in deciphering ancient documents.

Historical and official documents preserved in the museum （ Musashino Village ・ Town ・ This course teaches the modern and contemporary history of Musashino City area using administrative documents ） created at the city office. Also, how to read ・ and use ・ the documents （ and how to organize ） the documents will be introduced.

[4] "Research ・ Preservation ・ Utilization of Folk Materials"

Lecturer ： KANENARI Hiroko （ Musashino Hometown History Museum Curator ）

Using materials collected in a comprehensive survey of cultural properties conducted in the Musashino City area, this lecture will focus on the collection ・ organization ・ storage ・ and utilization of these materials. In this course, students will be required to summarize and present their research projects by the end of the lecture.
