San Francisco Yayoi Calligraphy Class every Thursday

I am a certified general calligrapher and kana master,
have taught calligraphy in the Bay Area for 10 years, and have 40 years of calligraphy experience.
I started a calligraphy class in San Francisco Japantown in September.
Come enjoy calligraphy with me on your own time ？

Students come to learn for a variety of reasons.

I want to try calligraphy again
I want some time to myself
I want to write beautiful handwritten letters
I wanted to try calligraphy
I want to concentrate
I want to obtain a qualification

"Calligraphy expresses the heart. It is said that "calligraphy expresses a person's heart".
The calligraphy written in a calm time has warmth and coherence, while the calligraphy written when you are excited or bewildered may be rough. But depending on how you look at it, the writing may appear masculine and full of energy.
Your feelings at the time are directly reflected in your writing.

And calligraphy is "Art".
There is no such thing as good, bad, or wrong.
If it is well-balanced, it is wonderful "Art".
Why don't you learn the basics, follow your heart, and write calligraphy ？

Time slots 11:00-12:30, 12:40-14:10

Adults 1h30 （ Hiragana, standard script, Gyosho ）
Children 1h （ Standard or Gyosho ）
*Children's ages are 1st-8th Grader

Fee Adults $ 35 per class, Children 25 per class
Cash, Check or Venmo

We will provide all calligraphy materials.
