The City is preparing for the Point in Time (PIT) Count of unstably housed individuals and _we need your help_!


* Mountain View needs volunteers for *Thursday, Jan 23* – exact timing is TBD but it will likely start no earlier than 6am
* Volunteers who are comfortable interacting with unstably housed individuals are needed to conduct short surveys with “unsheltered” individuals – this includes people living outside or in vehicles that are _not_ part of a Safe Parking program. "Sheltered folks will be included in the count through a different process."
* *Register your interest here [ https://santaclara.pointintime.info/ ]! *Interested community members will have training opportunities and can request to work with preferred volunteer groups by adding those notes into their interest form. Registered individuals will receive more information in January to prepare and participate.**
