The beloved comedian, actor and New York Times best-selling author shows no signs of slowing down as he enters the New Year with his all-new show at Wynn Las Vegas and a new full-hour comedy special on Netflix, filmed this September at Encore Theater.

The sibling-led Black Crowes will bring their southern rock to the Pearl Theater. The Black Crowes made a splash in 1990 with its bluesy rock sound reminiscent of 1960s bands like the Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead and the Faces. Brothers Chris and Rich Robinson started the band in Georgia in 1984. Over the years the band has released eight studio albums and four live albums which have collectively sold more than 30 million copies. Hits such as the Otis Redding remake of “Hard to Handle” gave the band international attention. Their first album, “Shake Your Money Maker”, that included well-known songs such as “Jealous Again” and “Twice as Hard,” had music journalists extending accolades and selling out shows around the globe. The Crowes even caught the attention of Legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page who briefly joined as a member in the early 2000s.

The intense, vibrant Elias Quartet returns to the DACAMERA stage for one night only following their historic Beethoven string quartet cycle in 2022 – and this time they’re joined by a friend. Artistic Director Sarah Rothenberg joins the quartet for Brahms’ majestic Piano Quintet, in which the composer’s own beloved instrument takes center stage. We kick off our celebration of composer Fanny Mendelssohn with her rhapsodic Quartet in E-flat Major, one of the first surviving string quartets by a woman. Stravinsky’s rarely-performed miniatures, Three Pieces for String Quartet, open the program.

The Nebulous Quartet might have traditional string quartet instrumentation, but their sound is all their own. They create unique arrangements and beautiful original compositions that reflect the members’ distinct musical identities and the joyful spirit that brings them together.

This young quartet, all recent Berklee alumni, create arrangements and original compositions from an improvisational and nebulous state. They take inspiration from their diverse backgrounds and musical identities.
