Retrofitting the McGilvra Blvd E Bridge to better withstand earthquakes is coming to a close for the winter season. The concrete poured earlier last week is curing and the construction site is now being prepared for a *work suspension to begin as soon as November 11 and that will continue until spring 2025.* Winter weather impacts our ability to do asphalt paving restoration work.  

We’ll reopen the bridge for use, both of Seattle Tennis Club’s entrances will be accessible, and all other traffic control restrictions will be removed during this time.
