IN THE NEWS

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 REPURPOSE or 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗫𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 TRASH 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦
Now that all Grapevine residents have their new blue trash carts from Republic Services, the following instructions will assist in properly repurposing or disposing of your old trash containers.
- Existing trash cans may be used as bulk or clean brush receptacles with a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Republic Services asks that anyone who wants to dispose of their current trash can(s) to place them at the curb on the 2nd, 4th, or 5th Wednesday (non-green waste collection days) of the month. The drivers will dispose of your EMPTY can. If it is not empty, they will empty the brush and debris in your can and place it back at your curbside.
- Existing containers may not be recycled. They may however be used to store other items, sold, or given to someone in a neighboring community.
If you have additional questions about the new trash cart program, please contact Republic Services at 817.332.7301.
