【The Disaster Response Headquarters has opened】

As of 7:30 a.m. 28 May 2025 (Tuesday), a Heavy Rain (landslide) Warning has been announced in Minoh City. As of 6:50 a.m., the Disaster Response Headquarters has opened, and are gathering information about the status of damage in the city.
Please pay attention to incoming weather information.

【Voluntary Evacuation Centers opening in advance of the Heavy Rain (landslide) Warning】

As of 10:35 a.m. 28 May (Tuesday), the following evacuation centers have opened for people in areas at risk of landslides who want to voluntarily evacuate.
If you have checked the Hazard Zone Map and confirmed that your house is in a safe area,
you do not need to evacuate to an evacuation center. Please stay in a safe area of your house. If you have friends or family living in a safe area, please evacuate to their house.
If you evacuate, we ask that you bring food and drink supplies, and also infection prevention supplies (masks, alcohol-based sanitizer) to protect against infection.
We ask that you only evacuate to evacuation centers before it gets dark and the rain gets strong.

The following evacuation centers have opened:
- Todoromi no Mori Gakuen
- Nishi Elementary School
- Maple Hall (Evacuation Center of Kita Elementary School area)
- Kayano-higashi Elementary School
- Toyokawa-kita Elementary School

Information about Minoh City is announced through the radio (FM 81.6MHz), the internet, and the City magazine. In an emergency, important information for Citizens is broadcast on Tackey 816.
