1. Educate on heat-related illness and remind patients to stay hydrated

2. Encourage elderly patients to schedule appointments in the morning and evening to avoid peak temperatures






3. Embrace telehealth for non-urgent care

4. Review medications that increase heat-sensitivity

Unlike traditional fee-for-service approaches, value-based care emphasizes improving patient outcomes and managing costs more effectively. Here are 3 essential components of technology in value-based care practices:

Electronic Health Records (EHRs) are essential in value-based care because they provide healthcare providers with easy access to detailed patient information.
