3:30 P.M. DOW update: Water service restored to Waila'au Road and Waihohonou Road

KOLOA - Water service has been restored to customers on Waila'au Road and Waihohonou Road from approximately 3:30 p.m. this afternoon.  Crews have completed the mainline repairs and customers may now resume normal water use.

*1 p.m. DOW update: Water service shutdown extended on Waila’au Road and Waihohonou Road*

(1 p.m.) KOLOA - The Department of Water (DOW) has extended the water shutdown on Waila'au Road and Waihohonou Road until approximately 4:30 p.m. this afternoon due to the complexity of the repairs on the damaged mainline.

An update will be provided if new information is received.

* **Emergency water service shutdown on Waila’au Road and Waihohonou Road*

(8:30 a.m.) KOLOA - The Department of Water (DOW) announces an emergency water service shutdown on Waila'au Road and Waihohonou Road for approximately 4 to 5 hours due to a recent mainline break.

Intermittent lane closures may be implemented to create a safe work zone. Flaggers will assist with traffic control.

An update will be provided if new information is received.
