Neighborhood Planning Coming to Crossroads & Newport

The Great Neighborhoods program provides a strategic, community-driven process for developing neighborhood area plans. Neighborhood area plans make up Volume 2 of the Comprehensive Plan. They bring the city’s broader Comprehensive Plan to life in a local way by providing policy guidance for future projects and development within the neighborhood. 

On *Tuesday, September 17* the City Council will officially launch the next round of neighborhood area planning in Crossroads and Newport. This will kick-off a robust community engagement process to define specific neighborhood values, vision, and policies.
