Join the Columbus Tree Subcommission: Your Chance to Make a Difference!

Are you passionate about trees and want to make a lasting impact in your community? The Columbus Tree Subcommission is looking for new members. Whether you’re a tree lover or have experience in urban forestry, we want you to join our mission to protect and grow our urban forest.

This group plays a vital role in advising the Recreation and Parks Commission, and we currently have three openings available! As a member, you’ll commit to a five-year term, attending one-hour bimonthly meetings on the first Wednesday of the month from January to November at our office at 1533 Alum Industrial Dr. W, with a virtual option available.

Now is your chance to connect with fellow tree enthusiasts, learn more about urban forestry and help shape the future of our city’s tree canopy. Interested? Discover Warner Woods Park: Join Us for the Grand Opening

Columbus Recreation and Parks Department is thrilled to invite you to the grand opening of Warner Woods Park, a vibrant new green space in Northeast Columbus. This exciting event will occur on Monday, Oct. 28, at 11:30 a.m. with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring City leaders.
