Unemployment Insurance Weekly Claims Report [ http://www.dol.gov/newsroom/releases/eta/eta20241017 ] 10/17/2024 08:00 AM EDT
In the week ending October 12, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 241,000, a decrease of 19,000 from the previous week's revised level. The previous week's level was revised up by 2,000 from 258,000 to 260,000. The 4-week moving average was 236,250, an increase of 4,750 from the previous week's revised average.
