The *Customer Information Technological Resources and Solutions (CITRS) team*, part of *King County Metro's Mobility Division, Customer Communication and Services (CCS) Section*, is searching for an innovative, driven, and customer-focused professional to serve as a SDA *Communication Specialist III, Project Lead*, for the social media team within CITRS.

This role will lead projects from conception through implementation, focusing on improving and streamlining processes related to executive correspondence, social media tools, customer case response times,  transit alert effectiveness, and special projects. You will also advocate for and support the current team by leading workgroups, assigning tasks, and ensuring effective communication of goals and needs to management and key stakeholders.
 
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing social media and communication-related projects.
* Leading workgroups to improve processes.
* Assigning and overseeing tasks for team members.
* Communicating goals, progress, and needs to management.
* Supporting the team by performing regular duties alongside the social media team.
* Flexibility to respond to urgent issues, which may require non-standard hours and weekend work.
As a *Project Lead*, you may continue some of your regular responsibilities during this assignment.

*What Does Metro's CITRS Team Do: *The CITRS team serves as the primary source for digitally disseminating transit information to customers who use Metro Transit and Metro-operated services. We administer various information systems, channels, platforms, and user interfaces to facilitate trip planning and distribute real-time service updates.
