The scholarship is open to female students who are enrolled in a graduate program at a college or university in the state of California and who are in a Junior, Senior or Graduate standing for the 2024/25 academic year. The applicant must be a junior, senior or graduate student in the 2024/25 academic year and demonstrate a willingness and intent to contribute to U.S.-Japan relations and the cultural exchange that serves as a bridge between the two countries. Nationality ・ Race is not required. Submit online application, dissertation, and two letters of recommendation. Award amount $ 2,000.

AAJUW SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The American Association of Japanese University Women (AAJUW) is currently undergoing a major expansion. AAJUW is currently accepting scholarship applications for 2024-2025. AAJUW was founded in 1970 to promote the education of women, as well as to contribute to U.S. - Japan. Since the founding of the organization, scholarships have been awarded every year to the women's organization.
