A documentary film that follows Gump Suzuki on his "journey across America" for six months as he travels the world by rickshaw.
From New York on the East Coast to Santa Monica on the West Coast, a distance of 5,100 km, he encounters endless roads, harsh natural conditions, and unexpected troubles, but keeps moving forward. Why does he keep running?

STORY
Route 66 (1926 ～ 1985) is a major motorway that runs from Chicago, Illinois, to Santa Monica, California, and back. It is America's main artery,
connecting Chicago, Illinois, to Santa Monica, California, and is known as the Mother Road （ which is 3800 km long, passing through eight states and over 300 towns ）.
The road is deeply related to American culture, as it was the creation of Route 66 that gave birth to the motel and hotel culture of the fast food American culture.
This trip was further extended and Gump Suzuki crossed by rickshaw from the East Coast to Santa Monica, California from New York City.

Born in 1990 in Kyoto, Japan, he first encountered the rickshaw when he was 23 years old.
Since 2016, he has been challenging to travel the world's first 5 continents by rickshaw, while sending out videos on SNS.
After touring Asia, Europe, and Australia, he stopped crossing the U.S. due to Corona. He temporarily returned to Japan and traveled 3,000km from Hokkaido to Okinawa while promoting local activities in each city, town, and village.
After that, he started over from scratch and completed the 5,100 km crossing of the U.S. He will complete the Shikoku Pilgrimage in 2023, and aims to complete the Africa leg in 2024.
