▲ ▽ ▲ Aim ▲ ▽ ▲
Honolulu Umi Sakura is dedicated to giving something back to Hawaii.
It would be wonderful if we can work together with people who share this desire and enjoy picking up trash.
My goal is that Honolulu Sea Cherry Blossoms will be continued to the next generation.

From September 2012, fishing boats and wreckage washed ashore by the tsunami from the Great East Japan Earthquake began to drift into Hawaii's waters on the current. The currents began to wash them ashore in Hawaii's waters.
After all this time, I strongly felt that the ocean is one and connected.
I love the ocean in Hawaii. I love Hawaii's ocean because of its large capacity to accept tourists from all over the world, locals, people at weddings, people on business,
and everyone in between. I wish I could give back to the Hawaiian ocean with such a deep sense of nostalgia, even if just a little.
I hope to give back to Hawaii's ocean little by little by picking up trash.
We hope that our small actions will be a bridge between Japan and the Hawaiian ocean.
We will continue our activities with brightness, smiles and fun.
