Yachiyo Health Information Mail [Additional reservation slots for the new corona vaccine for infants].

We will add an appointment for the "Autumn in 2023" (additional vaccination) for infants (6 months ～ 4 years old) at 8:30 a.m. on February 21, 2024 (Wednesday). The vaccination is not compulsory. The vaccination will be administered only with the consent of the guardian.

○ Reservation Eligibility
6 months old ～ 4 years old who have already received the first vaccination (up to the 3rd dose) and more than 3 months have passed since the last vaccination [Additional Vaccination]

○ Available dates for reservation
Individual Vaccination ： February 26 (Monday)

○Vaccine to be used
Pfizer's monovalent vaccine ： XBB.1.5 compatible [for infants]

○Reservation time
① WEB application February 21 (Wed.) from 8:30am (*24 hours after that)

◆The vaccination sites that can be reserved by the above methods ① or ② are "Abe Children's Clinic (1-8-7 Katsutadai-kita 1-8-7 KEIYU Bldg. 2F )".

◆In addition to the above, there are other medical institutions that accept reservations in person, so please check the list on the website below and use this service.

◆Next time, we are planning to add an appointment slot for March 11 (Mon.) through March 31 (Sun.), 2024 on March 6 (Wed.). The next addition of reservation slots for infants and toddlers will be the last.

◆The special temporary inoculation program for free of charge will end on March 31, 2024, so please make an appointment as soon as possible if you wish to receive the inoculation.

◆Reservations for the first vaccination (a set of three vaccinations) can be made directly at medical institutions that accept reservations, but in order to complete the first vaccination, the first dose must be completed by January 14, 2024 for Pfizer vaccines and by March 3, 2024 for Modelna vaccines. If the first dose cannot be completed by March 31st, the remaining doses will be available at your own expense, but the details of the vaccines used and the medical institutions where you can receive them have not yet been determined.
