[Story]

Miho Sakakibara, who quit her nursing job and returned to her hometown in Minami-Boso, established an end-of-life hospice "Hohoemi no Sato" to protect those who have no relatives.
There, people who have lived harsh lives gather, including Yuko Aragaki, who grew up in an orphanage and was told she had only 28 years to live, Yoshiko Hayashi, who raised the son-in-law her late husband left behind, and Rei, a Thai who has lost all her relatives. The residents face the end of their lives, surrounded by the love of Miho, the hospice's end-of-life caregivers, and the local people, who aim to "stay with them until the end and create a warm environment like a real family. An ending story of love and tears.
