Then, the perpetrator, pretending to be an employee of the city office or a financial institution, calls you on the phone and says,
"We have your tax refund."

"We will take your bankbook for processing."
The ATMs will then send you to the ATM to transfer the money into their account, or come to your home to collect your bankbook or cash card.
