February 1 through March 18 is Cyber Security Month. Please take this opportunity to check your own information security measures.
Recently, we have been receiving many inquiries about
・ emails or SMSs from people pretending to be from credit card companies, banks, shopping sites, etc., saying, "Your account （ ） has been misused."
・ Phishing scams in which a phishing scammer sends a phishing scammer an e-mail or an SMS saying "Your account has been misused," etc., and leads the phisher to a fake website to steal your ID, password, credit card information, or personal information While browsing the Internet, a warning screen appears as if a virus has suddenly infected your computer, and the phisher is forced to contact the support desk indicated on the screen.
This is a support scam that attempts to scam you into contacting a support service in the name of virus removal.
If you receive an e-mail or SMS that you do not remember, do not access the URL in the body of the message, and check the information on the application or site you are originally using. Do not contact the phone number listed on the warning screen that suddenly appears, close your browser and consult with the company.
If you are in trouble, do not worry alone, but report or consult with the police.
