Incidents of Telephone Deception

This is an announcement from Kimitsu Police Station.
Fraudulent phone calls have been received, claiming to be from employees of the Japan Pension Service or pension officers of financial institutions.
In the call,
・ There is a refund for the employee pension.
・ Go to a nearby ATM to complete the procedure.
If you hear words such as "", it is a scam.
Also,
・ There have been cases of fraudulent attempts to get you to log in to your internet banking account and ask for your contract number, etc. to get

your money.
To prevent this type of fraud, please set your home phone to go to voicemail even when you are at home and do not talk to the person on the other end of the line.
If you receive such a call, or if a stranger suddenly arrives at your home, please call 110 or report the incident to the Kimitsu Police Station.
