[Beware of fraudulent phone calls ！.

This is an announcement from Kimitsu Police Station.
An automated voice in Kimitsu City has been calling since the other day, saying
"Your phone will be out of service in two hours."
"Please press 1 to be connected to an operator."
and other suspicious calls that make you feel uneasy.
Then they verbally ask for personal information, and finally,
"You can use an ATM to complete the process."
"You can pay electronically."
"You can also pay by credit card."
and then try to swindle you out of your money by forcing you to enter your credit card number.
Other attempts include a message on your computer screen saying
"You are infected with a virus. Please call us immediately." and when you call the number,
it will claim to be from Microsoft, etc.,
"You have been infected with a virus.
"You can pay with electronic money."
There are also fictitious billing scams such as

To prevent damage, set your home phone to voicemail even when you are at home, do not call unknown numbers, and be careful not to talk to anyone.
If you receive such a call or suddenly an unknown screen appears, suspect a scam and call 110 or report it to the Kimitsu Police Station.
