Suspension of use of shelters

Yachimata Chuo Junior High School, the city's designated evacuation center, will not be available as an evacuation center until around July 2025 due to renovation work on the gymnasium.

If an earthquake or other disaster occurs during the construction, please evacuate to the Central Community Center or Jitsuju Elementary School, which are designated evacuation centers in the same Jitsuju Elementary School district.
Also, please continue to cooperate in dispersing evacuation to the homes of relatives and friends, and evacuating at home if your home is safe.

We will announce again when the designated evacuation area becomes available.
