With housing affordability at the forefront of Mayor Castor’s “Transforming Tampa’s Tomorrow” vision, Mayor Jane Castor and City staff recently announced the expansion of the DARE to Own the Dream Homeownership Program, increasing the maximum home purchase price to $300,000. Health & Safety Open House

Meet your local first responders, learn how you can help save a life, and discover ways you can keep yourself and your family safe at our Tampa Fire Rescue x Tampa Parks & Recreation Health & Safety Open House. The event will take place on February 8, 2022 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm at the Port Tampa Community Center (4702 W. McCoy St. Tampa, FL 33616).

Planning Today Show

The February & March Planning Today Show (https://www.tampa.gov/city-planning/planning-today-show) episodes will focus on the newly-adopted noise ordinance. The events, hosted on February 15th at 6pm and March 15th at 6pm, are open to all members of the public. Participants must register to attend one or both of the public information meetings. City officials will provide an overview of the recent changes made to the noise ordinance, followed by a Q & A period.
