Futtsu City] Nankai Trough Earthquake Temporary Information （ "Call for Special Caution" in connection with Giant Earthquake Caution ） is closed.

On August 8, 2024, the JMA issued a "Nankai Trough Earthquake Alert", but since no particular changes in seismic activity or crustal deformation have been observed since then, the "Alert of Special Caution" has been terminated.

Although this special alert is no longer in effect, major earthquakes and tsunami disasters, including the Nankai Trough earthquake, could occur at any time.
