Beware of Phone De Fraud ！ ！

Today, a resident of Shinjuku, Tateyama City has received a phone call from a person claiming to be a police officer from Kochi Prefecture, Japan, who has been calling about a fictitious billing scam. The person on the other end says, "There is a warrant for your arrest for fraud. I need 1,000,000 yen for bail." The caller hangs up the phone.
Such a call is a scam.
Even if the caller claims to be from a government office or financial institution, do not easily trust them and do not give out any personal information.
Hang up on suspicious calls and consult your family or the police.
To prevent damage, it is important to set your home landline to voicemail even when you are at home and do not talk to the person on the other end of the line.
